Since 1999 coolback stands for taste and freshness in highest baker quality. At our location in Jänickendorf in Brandenburg, south of Berlin, our 270 employees and 8 trainees produce more than 500 million frozen baked goods per year using traditional and innovative recipes. By investing in the latest baking technology and expanding our capacities, we have been able to establish ourselves on the market as an efficient, competent and reliable partner. Customers from wholesale, food retailing and the food industry, as well as home services and system catering, appreciate the high quality and incomparable taste of our products.

In addition to classic standard products, we deliberately focus on individual and market-oriented product solutions that are tailored to the wishes of our customers. Whether a special dough recipe, a creative topping, a special shape or a serving cut that facilitates further processing – coolback is the specialist for your frozen baked goods. State-of-the-art production of baked goods
The production of our bakery products is carried out with the know-how and passion of our master bakers using state-of-the-art plant technology. In addition to several fully automatic baking lines, we also have stone ovens and a unique sourdough plant. All baked goods are stored at minus 24°C in a deep-freeze warehouse with more than 10,000 pallet spaces. Around 2 million frozen baked goods leave our production every day. The delivery within Germany and to other European countries is carried out by renowned logistics partners, with whom we have been working trustfully for many years.
Outstanding product quality
Only natural and high-quality ingredients are used in our production process, while preservatives and chemical baking substances are not used in our quality bakery products. In accordance with our product philosophy, we pay particular attention to gentle dough processing and long dough runs. In this way, we allow our sourdough to mature for at least 12 hours – the time it takes to develop its typical aroma. Because nothing beats the aroma and taste of deliciously fresh baked goods. The fact that our products are of excellent quality is proven by high customer satisfaction and DLG awards.
The safety of our processes and the trust of our customers are the basis of our success. Regular audits and certification according to IFS and BRC are at the core of our corporate culture.
