Since 1999, coolback has stood for taste and freshness in the highest bakery quality. At our 3 locations in Jänickendorf, Hoppegarten and Luckenwalde around the capital Berlin, more than 600 employees produce over 1.2 billion baked goods annually according to traditional and innovative recipes. Through targeted investments in baking technology and the expansion of our capacities, we have been able to establish ourselves in the market as an efficient, competent and reliable partner. Customers from the food service, food retail and food industry, as well as home services and catering companies appreciate the high quality and incomparable taste of our products.

State-of-the-art production of baked goods
Our baked goods are produced with the know-how and passion of our master bakers using the most modern and innovative technical systems and equipment. In addition to several fully automatic baking lines, we have stone ovens as well as unique sourdough systems.
All finished products are stored in different warehouses, which offer more than 20,000 pallet spaces of capacity, in different temperature zones. More than 3 million baked goods leave our factories every day. Delivery within Germany and to other European countries is carried out by highly respected logistics partners with whom we have been working in a trusting relationship for many years.
Outstanding product quality
Mainly natural and high-quality ingredients are supplied to our production process and all come from certified and selected providers. In accordance with our product philosophy, we pay particular attention to gentle dough processing and a long dough process. We leave our sourdough to mature for at least 12 hours – the time it needs to develop its unique aroma. Because nothing is better than the aroma and taste of deliciously fresh baked bread. Our products’ excellent quality is proven by so many satisfied customers and awards from the DLG (German Agricultural Society).
The safety of our processes and the trust of our customers are the basis of our success. Regular audits and IFS certification are at the core of our corporate culture. In addition, we are certified in accordance with the EU Organic Regulation (No. 848/2018) and for several years we have successfully implemented an energy management system.
